Greentree eBusiness Revolutionises Business Interaction

Addax MD and Senior IT Consultant Present to Packed CIMA Audience

22nd July 2010 - Addax MD David Sankey and Senior IT Consultant Eric Neumann presented to a full house at the CIMA quarterly professional development update. CIMA, (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) is the world's largest professional body of management accountants.

Cloud computing is a hot topic that these accounting business professionals needed to complement their knowledge of computing trends.

Says David Sankey, "We were pleased to be approached by CIMA to present our views on cloud computing. The audience response was overwhelming and shows the keen interest in cloud computing across all industries."

Eric Neumann commented "Even though the attendees were from a non-IT background it was clear from the floor that cloud computing and the role it might play in their organisations was top of mind."

David Sankey further commented, "Addax sees over the next five years that the take up of cloud computing solutions will be very strong. Addax is positioned to support its clients down this important technology path".

Addax are looking to present its views at the ISACA annual conference in October 2010. ISACA is the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, a worldwide association of IS professionals dedicated to the audit, control, and security of information systems.

Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave

February 2010 - Addax is proud to be participating in the World’s Greatest Shave in March 2010. Several members of our staff are pledging to shave or colour their hair to raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation. If you would like to support our team you can make a donation towards our fundraising (see below). Every hour of every day, at least one person in Australia is diagnosed with a blood cancer, such as leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma. Every two hours, someone loses their life to blood cancer. The Leukaemia Foundation supports patients and their families so they can concentrate on what’s most important - getting well. It also funds vital research into better treatments and hopefully cures.
