At Addax’s Technology Centre the AoD infrastructure and services are based on Citrix technologies so all the user processing, as well as the server-side processing, is provided by the Addax servers. This allows users to access the system over limited band-width and using lower specification workstations. When the programs are operating they look and feel like they are running on the client PC but at significantly less cost and greater security for your intellectual property. AoD is not limited to operating general applications like the MS Office suite or a Business Management Solution like Greentree or Arrow. AoD may run other applications or systems that require a “centralised” nature, and gain all of the other benefits that are provided to AoD users. For example, for support or training, Addax can "shadow" client sessions whereby if the client is having a problem processing an Invoice or using MS Excel, our consultants can connect to the client session and see what is on the screen activity and actions, advise the client and even take control of the mouse and keyboard to show the client how to resolve issues.
