Addax's Financial Report Generator (FRG) eliminates much of this manual effort. What is FRG?

The FRG (Financial Report Generator) is a time- saving tool for generating new Financial reports utilising Greentree’s Excel Add-in functionality.

FRG is all about generating P&L and Balance Sheet reports. FRG will combine a column template with a General Ledger master file tree to produce a report comparable to a manually defined report containing Greentree’s FREE formulae but in less time.

The Financial Report Generator eliminates much of the manual effort involved in the initial design of a report layout plus the need to tinker with the report each time a new GL account is added. 

With FRG the effort is replaced with a single button push and a few minutes of processing for each report. In addition, FRG reports can be re-generated as required, ensuring that as new accounts are added to the General Ledger in Greentree, the Excel based report is kept updated.

Add Additional Accounts With Ease

FRG comes with a library of column layout templates which contain the intended column structure of the report. The row structure is implied by one or more General Ledger master file trees in Greentree. Pictured below is an example of a column layout template.

Templates like this provide an Excel workbook you can edit and customise as required. In addition, new templates can easily be created in order to provide the right look and content for each report.
