Complete Management

The Greentree Manufacturing suite provides you with the tools to help manage your production, control costs and giving you the flexibility to respond quickly to customer and market demands. Greentree Manufacturing is suited to medium to small companies and offers a breadth of manufacturing functionality with seamless integration with your Financial and Distribution modules.

Greentree Manufacturing is designed especially for Make-to-order/Make-to-stock, Batch Processing, Discrete Manufacturing, and Job Shop environments. At any time, you can measure specific costs associated with materials allowing you to manage costs more effectively and identify new product opportunities faster. Production route plans allow you to define estimated lead times to advise customers in advance on expected delivery dates.

Full Integration

Greentree Manufacturing integrates fully with the Inventory suite, allowing the creation of an extensive multi level data repository for manufactured product structures (Bill of Materials) as well as process management and provides analytical tools to help manage product details such as configurations, costs, and resources that will aid in the manufacturing planning process. Inventory on hand quantities and product costs as well as General Ledger balances are automatically updated through factory order issues, receipts and adjustments.

Flexible Configuration

With Greentree’s Manufacturing suite your production process is not locked into rigid bill of materials structures. Your production team has the ability to include additional materials during manufacture or replace defined materials with alternatives, ensuring production completion in the most time and cost effective way. Factory orders can include unlimited production notes to assist shop floor staff with set-up instructions.
Initiating a factory order is straightforward with all options automatically defaulted, however, you can override these to change the destination location for the finished goods, location to select materials from as well as whether to commit or backflush materials for the production run. Factory orders can also be adjusted to reflect rejects and to also return, un-commit or write-off materials not used in the manufacturing process.

Accurate Costing

At any time you can run the bill of materials re-cost process to calculate total estimated costs for one, selected or all product bills of materials.

Real-time Order Tracking

The use of factory order status codes and real-time receipts and issues allow for the tracking of the factory orders throughout the manufacturing process so that users can view and track progress of orders at any time during the supply-chain from the time the order is placed, until the order is receipted into stock, or a customer order is fulfilled.

Microsoft Office Integration

Greentree defined Excel functions allow for easy upload and maintenance of all bill of materials and route plans into Greentree. Use this powerful facility to update a single bill or to mass replace inventory items or adjust quantities to ensure your bills accurately reflect the current process.

Extensive Reporting

A range of manufacturing reports are available to provide extensive and timely information on bill of materials and factory orders. From identifying which specific raw materials are used in finished goods, through to detailed cost analysis of work-in-progress issue and receipt transactions, through to final cost variances, these reports provide up-to-date information for both production and management personnel.
