Almost since Addax’s inception we have run a data centre where we host almost 20 Greentree systems. This is a service we call AoD (Application on Demand) where we can host a customers' Greentree system and associated programs. The big benefits of this is that the service includes full disaster recovery service, programs updates, and your Greentree system is available 24 x 7 from anywhere you have an internet connection.
This service is particularly attractive to customers who have multiple offices, and it is therefore no surprise that almost without exception our mining customers who have operations in Africa and limited satellite communications use it, alongside several Perth based companies who do not want the responsibility or cost of ensuring their IT Infrastructure is reliably available and properly backed up.
